wp6fe39f3d_02.jpg QUINTON COETZEE was born in the Namib Desert. Having spent most of his youth in the bush, he began his working career near there as a hunter.  He later attained a University Degree in the natural sciences after which he specialised in bush survival.


Various projects and expeditions have taken him to the furthest and remotest corners of the globe acting as an explorer, researcher and advisor for several wildlife organizations and governments. As a conservationist, he has managed the animal collection for one of the largest Zoological Gardens in Africa, where he was committed to the breeding of many endangered species worldwide.


Being one of Southern Africa’s leading bushcraft specialists, Quinton is a frequent resource in print and on radio and television programs, speaking on a variety of nature topics.
